Cody Strickland started as a Correctional Officer with the Utah Department of Corrections in August 2000.  Nearly five years later, he transferred to Utah Correctional Industries.

Strickland started with UCI in the Northern Outfitters shop, then moved to the external Reach Program where he managed several different shops and crews.

After a stint at the Central Utah Correctional Facility, where he implemented the Sign Shop, Strickland returned to the Draper facility as a Production Manager before becoming the Operations Manager of UCI.
