Welding

Products are designed from scratch with the latest CAD software, taking into account specifications, codes, and material costs/savings.

Everyone — including the shop supervisor, lead-man, and designer — all sign-off on shop drawings before production begins.

We have shop procedures in place that ensure quality control throughout the project, including visual inspections from the designer and shop supervisor following completion of the project.

Through our project participants, our shop offers over 40 combined years of welding, layout, and iron-working experience. Our designer has over 15 years of drafting and design experience. As part of our dedication to excellence and craftsmanship, we thoroughly cross-train each member of our team to ensure the highest level of quality and success.

UCI’s welding program includes the contract for all of the new “cuff rails” and benches that will be utilized at the new Utah State Correctional Facility.
