Roofing

Let us Roof your Buildings
Subsequently, with funding from DFCM and training provided by Innovative Roofing, the UCI Roofing Operation began work.
A Certified Corrections Officer supervises each crew of low security risk inmates. These inmates are trained to repair different types of roofs on State owned building.
Using this inexpensive inmate work force saves the State more than 50% in repair and maintenance costs.
DFCM has enough backlog of work to keep three full-time roofing crews busy, providing professional re-roofing services to State owned buildings. UCI can complete the entire project from demolition to a completed sound, weatherproof roof. Whether your needs are Asphalt shingles, cedar shakes, metal shakes, metal roofs or single-ply, UCI can give you professional results.
Weekly, UCI is approached with new re-roofing challenges that require adjustments in applications or requests to try something in a different way. Because UCI roofing crews are closely supervised, special attention and custom work can be integrated into many roofing projects. With more re-roofing projects on the horizon, UCI is working to cross train the Asbestos, Construction, and Roofing crews to become all-around teams that can arise to any occasion. This concept also benefits the inmates by providing him the training and skills that are marketable in the "real world," a very valuable commodity for sure.
